This means that I answer any and all questions you may have, prepare you with questionnaires and timelines and devote time and energy to your edits. I spend hours crafting the perfect edits to fit the scene, this includes photoshopping out parts that don’t fit, smoothing skin, whitening teeth, brightening the sun and so much more so you can look back on your photos, and only be drawn to the parts that matter.

On your wedding day, the last thing you want is to be wondering 'what's next?' or 'do we have time for _____?', which is when a timeline comes in handy. Don't worry, you don't have to figure it out alone...I can help you every step of the way. Timelines are how I can make sure we have time to get all of the photos you want. I'll take some time to construct a photo timeline for your day that matches with all of the things you want me to capture (& more!).

Yes, absolutely! I'm 100% comfortable shooting by myself, but on a wedding day it's super great to have an extra set of eyes to capture the things I might not be able to. For example: a second photographer can capture the groomsmen getting ready, while I capture the bridesmaids! You'll get photos from a completely unique perspective, which is a huge bonus for your wedding gallery. Adding a second shooter is an additional $400 to your wedding package.
It's not your job to make sure you look BOMB in your photos! Whether you're a trained model or you've never had photos done before, I'll tell you everything you need to do in front of the camera.
Typically, I deliver galleries within 2 weeks of your session date. Weddings take between 4-6 weeks and include sneak peeks that you receive within 48 hours of the wedding.
It's not your job to worry about photo locations - it's mine! If your venue is local, I'll go and find a few options for you to choose from. If I'm traveling from out of town, I'll still use my resources (aka, Google Maps) to find some awesome spots for you. Also, I always get in contact with the venue coordinator to form a plan for your day so you can best showcase your venue.

Hiring Genevieve was hands down the best decision made (aside from saying I do!) for my wedding. We booked Genevieve a year ago for our engagement shoot and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable she made us feel. Neither of us had done a photoshoot before, but she made the entire experience such a blast, making everything feel so natural and easy. When we received the photos-super quickly might I add-we were blown away. The photos she took take up an entire wall in my apartment and we always get complimented on how great the photographer is.

Choosing Genevieve as our photographer was one the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. I found her on Instagram and loved her true tones, airy feel and was so excited that she was available for our wedding date.
The first time we met was for our engagement photos. Genevieve made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was able to capture us perfectly in places that were special to us - the Charles River Esplanade where we got in engaged; sipping espresso martinis at Bricco; and eating pizza in the North End.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Genevieve was extremely helpful. She had us fill out a form indicating all of the groups we wanted photos of, as well as what other types of memories we would like her to capture. Also, there was a hurricane heading straight for Newport and helped us find alternative locations for photos, which thankfully we didn't need.
The day of our wedding, Genevieve was incredible. She arrived on time, and immediately started capturing the day. Once again, she made myself, my family, and our wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she helped us keep a tight timeline to get all the photos we wanted.
The next morning (less than 12 hours after she left), we received a sneak peak of photos and they were gorgeous. Hire Genevieve, you won't regret it!

I wish I could give Genevieve 100 stars. She blew me away. I can't even believe these are my real life wedding photos. She captured the day so perfectly, like a fairytale romance novel love story, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. She listened to absolutely everything I wanted, asked me questions, and was SO helpful.
