Emmie and Anthony’s Stevens Estate wedding was so incredibly gorgeous. It was a cloudy November day filled with cozy vibes throughout. I am so excited to share more from their wedding day in Andover, MA!
In 2013, during Emmie’s internship in Salem, MA, she met Anthony in an informal setting. Anthony was somewhat known to Emmie through her cousin, who she shared a close bond with. They have differing recollections of their first meeting. Emmie remembers it occurring at a Bruins watch party, while Anthony insists it was at a college graduation celebration a few days later. Despite the variance, they both lean towards Emmie’s memory being accurate.
Emmie decided to permanently relocate to Massachusetts in 2015 after finishing her studies in Kansas. Throughout the years, Anthony and Emmie maintained their friendship, and in October 2017, they transitioned into an official relationship!! Emmie was unaware that Anthony had feelings for her for some time. It was Emmie who initiated their relationship that fall, as Anthony was hesitant to make the first move. Reflecting on this, Emmie appreciates taking that step, considering the uncertainty of how long it would have taken Anthony to gather the courage. Setting aside humor, Emmie is incredibly grateful for her decision, as it has brought them both much happiness.
The Stevens Estate at Osgood Hill is a prominent example of the Aesthetic Design Movement from the late 1800s. With just a short 30 minute drive from Boston, this venus is perfect for both indoor and outdoor wedding celebrations! Its cozy, natural surroundings are a common source of inspiration for visitors. This exact inspiration how it influenced the skilled carpenters and masons whose work continues to impress visitors today. With over 100 hundred acres of New England beauty, this venue is truly a masterpiece for hosting weddings year-round!!
The Stevens Estate just recently renovated their sunroom and it is a gorgeous space for a group of up to 100-120 guests! This venue was the perfect backdrop for bride and groom portraits, and bridal party photos.
What I loved most about this venue was the eclectic vibe throughout with the combination of the fun patterns, sophisticated and chic bathtub. These bridal portraits look like they are from a magazine!
The ceremony took place at a nearby church, embodying the timeless elegance of a black-tie formal winter New England wedding – which I absolutely adored!
