Some love stories just feel meant to be—and Katie & Nate’s is one of those sweet, full-circle kind of romances. These two have been together since high school, and their wedding day was every bit as heartfelt and joyful as their story.
They tied the knot on a sunny summer day with classic Cape Cod charm, lots of laughs, a few happy tears (okay, more than a few), and all the people who’ve loved them from day one.
Katie and Nate met back in high school—Katie transferred in the middle of freshman year and met Nate on her very first day. He still teases her for being “the weird new girl,” but the connection was instant. By the end of the year, they were a couple—and they’ve been growing up together ever since.
Their relationship is fun, easy, and full of genuine love. They’ve gone from hallway crushes to being best friends, travel buddies, and now, husband and wife.
The day started at the beautiful Wychmere Beach Club—a dreamy spot right on the water. Katie got ready with her bridesmaids, who wore the prettiest pale blue dresses, and the energy in the room was nothing but excitement.
Her look was classic and stunning, and the blue and white florals tied everything together with a timeless coastal vibe. The ocean breeze, the sunshine—it was just one of those perfect mornings.
Katie & Nate said “I do” at Holy Redeemer Church, and let me tell you… the moment Nate saw Katie walking down the aisle was unforgettable. You could feel the emotion in the room, and honestly, I was tearing up right alongside everyone else.
Their ceremony was sweet, simple, and incredibly meaningful—just like them.
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to Wychmere for the reception, and it was a total dream. Think: elegant table settings, blue and white florals, golden light pouring into the space, and happy guests soaking up the Cape Cod magic.
It was one of those weddings where everything felt effortless—beautiful, but never too formal—just fun, warm, and full of love.
After the ceremony, we took some time for portraits of Katie & Nate and their wedding party, and let’s just say—Cape Cod was showing off. The light was perfect, the florals were stunning, and the pale blue bridesmaid dresses against the backdrop of Wychmere Beach Club were absolutely dreamy. Katie & Nate were effortlessly sweet and natural in front of the camera—just totally in their element, laughing and soaking it all in.
Once the sun started to dip, it was time to hit the dance floor—and their guests came ready to celebrate! The energy was high, the music was flowing, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long. From first dances to spontaneous singalongs, it was the kind of reception you never want to end. The joy was contagious, and every moment felt like pure celebration.
Katie & Nate are all about the simple joys—cooking dinner together, hanging with their pup Finn, playing cards, sharing a glass of wine, and baking brownies after. That cozy, real-life kind of love came through in every moment of their day.
Their wedding didn’t feel like a big production—it felt like a celebration of everything that makes their relationship special.
Katie & Nate’s wedding was everything a summer Cape Cod celebration should be—sunny, sweet, a little emotional, and a lot of fun. From their emotional first look down the aisle to their dance floor glow at sunset, it was a day no one will forget (especially me!).
If you’re planning a wedding at Wychmere Beach Club or anywhere on the Cape, I’d love to help you bring your day to life in a way that feels real, relaxed, and completely you.
