Gorgeous Forest Park, St Louis Anniversary Photo Shoot | Margaret & Tate

I am in LOVE with Margaret and Tates Forest Park. St Louis anniversary photo shoot!! First of all, Forest Park is such a dreamy location! I was in love with all the greenery at the park as well as the touches of red from the flowers and rose bushes, and couldn’t get over the fact that it was right next to a gorgeous art museum. The bridge and the pond that was at Forest Park was also the PERFECT spot to take photos in front of with all of the lilypads and the fountains. I loved that Margaret and Tate chose this as their anniversary photo shoot location, as it was beyond beautiful!

Forest Park, St Louis

Forest Park. St Louis is located in the heart of the city and is 1,300 acres!! It not only gave us striking scenic backdrops for photos but plenty of space to explore and run around. I can see why this park is famous for its scenery as well as its monuments and historic buildings surrounding the park.

When I saw Margaret and Tate for the first time before the shoot I was obsessed with their outfits! Especially Margarets! She looked so graceful in her flowy floral blue and gray dress! Margaret’s style is very natural and simple which matched so well with the scenery. Each one of Margaret and Tates photos was vibrant and full of life no thanks to them! They were extremely energetic and full of personality!

Before the shoot, Margaret had mentioned to me that she loved black and white photos and the blurry aesthetic so we made sure to showcase that as well as movement into their anniversary photo shoot! When it comes to photographing couples I always make sure to have movement to help get more of a candid look for the photos as it not only helps with the nerves but makes the photos come out so natural!

Margaret and Tate were so lovely to talk to! We chatted from spot to spot while they told me all about their time in St Louis Missouri and compared it to their time in Massachusetts! I loved picking their brains and hearing all about their lives! Especially when Margaret told me about her being a YouTuber, which I’m a huge fan of by the way!! In her YouTube, she talks about minimalism and simple and intentional living! Getting to talk to her and Tate was a dream come true! She has so much knowledge that she shares in her YouTube videos which I am extremely obsessed with!

Anniversary Photo Shoot Itinerary

Margaret and Tates anniversary shoot couldn’t have been photographed on a more perfect day!! It was absolutely GORG!! The day was extremely sunny and picturesque I truly don’t think it could’ve been any better! And don’t get me started on the golden hour at Forest Park, St Louis! The light filtered through the trees giving us rays of sun shining right onto Margaret and Tate. It was SO ethereal!

I loved capturing Margaret and Tates Forest Park, St Louis Anniversary photo shoot, and getting to know both of them more. It was such a pleasure capturing the love they have for one another and being a part of this momentous day of their lives in such a beautiful location!
