Cincinnati Engagement Photos at Smale Riverfront Park | Clancy & Zac
Just wow!! These Cincinnati engagement photos at Smale Riverfront Park turned out INCREDIBLE!! What I couldn’t get over was that I knew Clancy from being a famous YouTuber and now I was capturing her and her soon to be hubbies engagement session!! Growing up and watching her on Youtube and then finally meeting her in person was an absolute dream!! Both Clancy and Zac were SO sweet and extremely welcoming and had the perfect understanding of the city to show me around, as I was only there for a couple of days!
Smale Riverfront Park
Cincinnati Engagement Photos Location
Clancy and Zac chose to have their Cincinnati engagement photos taken at Smale Riverfront Park which was such a beautiful location! Smale Riverfront park is 45 acres of urban green space alongside the riverfront which had incredible views of the river! Cincinnati is super underrated in my opinion! There’s SO much to see and do! I loved the park area, and the view from their venue at sunset was just absolutely incredible!
Engagement Session Itinerary
We started their engagement session at Smale Riverfront Park taking a bunch of photos of Clancy and Zac in their matching engagement outfits! Clancy looked STUNNING in a white dress from Lulus and Zac looked dapper in his white long-sleeve button-up, blue jeans, and tan dress shoes. They looked picture-perfect and I absolutely loved capturing their laughter and big personalities!

After photographing Clancy and Zac at the park we headed over to the Roebling Suspension Bridge and captured some of my favorite shots from this entire day! I truly loved how genuine and carefree both Clancy and Zac were, they didn’t have a care in the world and just enjoyed themselves the entire session! At the beginning of the session, Clancy mentioned to me that they didn’t know how to pose and thought they were awkward but that wasn’t the case at all! They were naturals! I don’t think there was a single photo that I didn’t love!
Roebling Suspension Bridge

We ended the day with them inviting me to dinner at the Moerlin Lager House which had the most AMAZING food!! And then headed over to their wedding venue, Drees Pavillion. When we arrived at Drees Pavillion I was in shock at how gorgeous the view of the Cincinnati skyline was! It was truly unforgettable!
Destination engagements may be one of my favorite engagement sessions as I get to explore new areas that I have never been to with couples who turn into lifelong friends! I couldn’t believe what a charming city Cincinnati, Ohio was, and getting to spend time and chat about fave shows like Love Island, which by the way I can talk about for hours! And about how Zac and Clancy met was so much fun!
Final Thoughts
Both Clancy and Zac are incredible people!! It’s crazy to think about how I watched Clancy on Youtube and finally got to meet her in person to shoot her engagement session! What was even cooler was that she did a vlog with me in it!! So not only did I get to meet her but I got to be a part of one of her Vlogs!! Clancy and Zac were such genuine and kindhearted people which made flying out to Cincinnati SO worth it!
