Willowdale Estate Wedding

I’ve been excited to shoot Bianca and Jayson’s Willowdale Estate Wedding since the day I shot their engagement session in Charlestown last year! I’ve known both of them for about two years now so you can imagine the anticipation I had!

A year ago Bianca said that she and Jayson getting married was 14 years in the making so I wasn’t the only one anticipating this moment! Both Bianca and Jayson wanted a beautiful classic wedding and Willowdale Estate was the perfect venue for this! Willowdale Estate is located 30 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, and is on a 720-acre state forest along the pristine Ipswich River. Willowdale Estate is one of the most breathtaking venues, and one of my favorites! I mean how can you not fall in love with a venue that’s surrounded by forests and the sound of the river nearby?!

Not only that but, Willowdale Estate offers an outdoor tent for weddings held during May – October, its perfect for weddings with a lot of guests and Bianca and Jayson were planning on having a big wedding filled with everyone they love as they are not only party people but people with a focus on community and family! There couldn’t have been a better venue for Bianca and Jayson!

We started Bianca and Jayson’s special day out at their family beach house, the same place Jayson had proposed to Bianca, for getting ready photos and first looks with the bridesmaids and groom and groomsmen and bride. As everyone was very close friends this was such a special moment. And don’t get me started on the makeup and hair! Bianca looked drop-dead gorgeous!

New England Wedding Venues

After getting ready photos we headed over to Willowdale Estate where they saw each other for the first time down the aisle! One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was their dog Pancake, (first of all the name!! I’m obsessed!) was wagoned in during the ceremony. It was the cutest thing!

After seeing their ceremony I was so excited to see what their reception was going to be like because the ceremony details were stunning and I just knew the reception was going to be just as or more stunning! And it didn’t disappoint! Each wedding vendor at Bianca and Jayson’s wedding was SO talented! My jaw started to hurt throughout the day because of how much it was dropping from all the beautiful details surrounding us. The white and green floral arrangements for the tablescapes and hanging from the tent were the epitome of classic and timelessness.

Wedding Reception

Bianca and Jayson are definitely party people as they had a crazy enthusiastic intro into the reception, dancing and getting everyone riled up it was so fun! They also had heartwarming speeches and a dance floor that was filled to the brim, someone even used their tie as a rope for limbo! Everyone including Bianca and Jayson was having the time of their lives, it was a blast sharing this experience with them and capturing every moment from everyone screaming on the dance floor to tears at their reception.

Bianca and Jayson’s Willowdale Estate wedding was one to remember! Their genuine love for their family and friends and joyfulness of the day shined through. Capturing their day was incredible! Both Bianca and Jasyon are such sweet and funny humans who are so chill and kind. Wedding days like this remind me why I’m so grateful and appreciative of each and every one of my clients and love doing what I do.
