Your Guide to Boston Photographers: Genevieve Photography
When you book with me, you get a fun and genuine photographer who has a knack for making people feel comfortable and aiding in the smoothness of the day. With me, you have a wedding professional who has experienced any and all types of wedding days and can take charge when it comes to aligning your desires with how the day will look. When you choose me as your photographer you’re choosing a friend, confidant, AND beautiful photography that will last forever!
I have a particular style of posing that creates candid laughs and movement that could never be captured on a phone. PLUS, I spend hours and hours crafting the perfect edits to fit the scenes of the day. This includes photoshopping out exit signs, smoothing skin, whitening teeth, brightening the sun and so much more!
Do Boston Photographers Help Me Pick My Location?
It’s not your job to worry about photo locations – it’s mine! If your venue is local, I’ll go and find a few options for you to choose from. If I’m traveling from out of town, I’ll still use my resources (aka, Google Maps) to find some awesome spots for you. Also, I always get in contact with the venue coordinator to form a plan for your day so you can best showcase your venue.
I don’t know how to Pose, What do I do?
It’s not your job to make sure you look BOMB in your photos! Whether you’re a trained model or you’ve never had photos done before, I’ll tell you everything you need to do in front of the camera.
What is Your Turnaround Time for Photo Shoots + Weddings?
Typically, I deliver galleries within 2 weeks of your session date. Weddings take between 4-6 weeks and include sneak peeks that you receive within 48 hours of the wedding!
Do You Recommend a Second Shooter for My Boston Wedding?
Yes, absolutely! I’m 100% comfortable shooting by myself, but on a wedding day, it’s great to have an extra set of eyes to capture the things I might not be able to. For example: a second photographer can capture the groomsmen getting ready, while I capture the bridesmaids! You’ll get photos from a completely unique perspective, which is a huge bonus for your wedding gallery. Adding a second shooter is an additional $650 to your wedding package.
What will my investment look like working with Genevieve Photography?
I’m so glad you asked! I have several packages for my couples, wedding, and elopement services! Because every couple’s needs are different, I always encourage you to reach out to see my full pricing guide! However, here is the average investment for couples:
Couples:
- Coverage: starts at 1 hour
- Minimum of 50 high-resolution photos
- Starting at $750
Elopements:
- Coverage: starts at 2 hours
- Minimum of 150 high-resolution photos
- Starting at $2000
Weddings:
- Coverage: starts at 7 hours
- Minimum of 400 high-resolution photos
- Starting at $7,000
- Preview images within 48 hours!
For each photoshoot, I always offer free consultations so that we can develop a plan that meets your needs and how I can support you along the way! Within those consultation meetings, we will discuss future planning meetings leading up to your photoshoot, and I will send you a get-to-know-you questionnaire.
I’m known for spoiling my couples, so you can also expect free resources with a guide for any service that you book. And of course, engagement, bridal, and anniversary discounts!
