If there is one wedding that is going to make you fall in love with Boston all over again, it is this one.

Jeannie and Brian got married on June 16, 2026, and from the very first look to the very last glow stick on the dance floor, every single moment of this day was so them. Black and white details, all-white florals, a white tuxedo jacket that honestly stopped traffic (literally), and a city walk through the North End that turned into the most joyful, spontaneous, magical parade.

The color palette for this wedding was black and white, and it was stunning. Jeannie wore a breathtaking lace ballgown with a cathedral veil for the portraits, and then changed into a completely different gown for the reception.

Brian showed up in a white tuxedo jacket with black lapels and black pants. I cannot say enough about this look. It was sharp, it was unexpected, and it photographed beautifully against everything. The city streets, the State Room windows, the floral arch. A true chef’s kiss!

The bridesmaids were in sleek black strapless gowns, and the groomsmen were in classic black tuxedos. The whole wedding party looked like they stepped out of an editorial.

The First Look: Post Office Square Pergola

Before the chaos and the celebration and the dancing, there was this quiet, beautiful moment at the Post Office Square pergola.

If you have never been, Post Office Square is tucked right into the Financial District. It’s a little park surrounded by Boston architecture, with a gorgeous ivy-covered pergola draped in string lights. It is one of those hidden gems that most people walk past every day without a second look.

Brian stood under the pergola waiting, and when Jeannie walked up behind him, the look on his face said everything. He lit up. These two were so easy and so in love and so completely natural together, and it showed in every single frame.

The North End Walk (aka the Most Boston Thing That Has Ever Happened)

Okay. This part. I need a moment.

After portraits, the wedding party walked through the North End to make their way to State Street, and the city absolutely showed up for them! Cars honked. People stopped and stared. Strangers waved from the sidewalk. And Jeannie and Brian? They waved right back. They said hi. They laughed and pumped their bouquets in the air and walked through downtown Boston like they owned every single cobblestone.

The Old State House was visible in the background. The wedding party was right behind them, grinning.

Inside the State Room

The State Room sits high above the Financial District, and the floor-to-ceiling windows give you an unreal view of Boston Harbor and the Custom House Tower clock tower. When the city is your backdrop, you do not need much else, but this wedding had it all.

Black tablecloths. Black chiavari chairs. A dramatic white floral arch with anemones, baby’s breath, and candles framing the ceremony space. A three-tier white wedding cake with white orchids cascading down it, sitting on a black tablecloth because of course. Every detail was considered and cohesive and just gorgeous.

The Reception: First Dances, Happy Tears, and Glow Sticks

Their first dance was one of those moments where the whole room went quiet, the city lights twinkled behind them through the windows, and everyone just watched.

Then the speeches happened and Brian completely lost it. He was laughing and crying at the same time while Jeannie sat next to him at the sweetheart table, also crying, surrounded by the most lush white floral arrangement. It was so real and so sweet and I am not ashamed to say my team was feeling it too.

And then? The dance floor opened. And the glow sticks came out. And this wedding turned into an absolute party.

Final Thoughts

Jeannie and Brian’s wedding was one for the books. The kind of day that starts beautifully and somehow just keeps getting better! From the quiet of the first look to the joy of the city walk to a dance floor that did not slow down all night.
